During the past 27 years, the Mt. Zion Foundation for Quality Education has provided over 1.6 million dollars for projects.
All donations will help to upgrade technology in classrooms such as iPads, new projectors, interactive flat panels, microphones. Other requested items include science materials, items to compliment curriculum, including books, manipulatives, etc...
Projects Approved for 2021:
We will have excitement this year as a result of the Foundation’s contribution towards the cost of purchasing various items in all grade levels including: interactive flat panel TVs, large screen TV's, new projectors, portable document cameras, flexible seating, indoor recess items, Scovill Mobile Zoom visits, Ipads, science materials, books, Walking Classroom kits, as well as materials needed to support the freshman orientation and grade school classroom landscaping project.
In addition to the grants requested by teachers, the Foundation went a step further and allowed every teacher to request items of immediate need through the Foundation Mini-Grant program. This program allows teachers to quickly purchase items through an expidited process to bring immediate resources to the classroom.
