    September 16, 2019 

    Jostens will be here on Wednesday at 2 to meet with Freshman about Class Rings.

    All students check your schedule for you focus period.  Some have changed, some have not.  

    Students~ If you are interested in working with elementary age students and would like to participate in a Read-aThon service project with Mt. Zion Grade, check out the survey in your email

    We are still taking orders for "Class of ..." shirts! All shirts are $12 and we will take orders until Friday, September 20th.  Shirts will be delivered to students prior to Homecoming Week.

    If you would like a red rowdies shirt make sure you stop by Mrs. Cliftons room and pick up an order form.  The cost of the shirt is $20. Please have your money turned in by Friday.

    Seniors~ Please check your email. If you entered your senior year with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, you are eligible for nomination for Senior of the Month and Senior of the Year. You have received an email from Mrs. Warner with details and a Google form that needs to be completed by September 18th.

    The Gay/Straight Alliance will hold meetings after school at 2:30 on Thursdays in room 111, starting on Thursday, September 19th. Hope to see you there!

    Students are reminded that backpacks are not allowed at the Football game on Friday or at any other home athletic event.

    Hey Mount Zion Seniors!  Clear your schedule for the evening of September 22nd, and join us at Fletcher Park for SADD's  annual "Senior Sunset." The festivities will begin at 6:30, and last until about 8:30. There will be a dunk tank filled with people you all know, free Krave frozen yogurt, and drawings for fabulous prizes.   Be sure to watch your email for more information, and we'll see you there!

    -Illinois College will be here Monday, September 23rd at 1:15 
    -Lindenwood University will be here Wednesday, September 25th at 12:30

     Art Club has moved to Monday nights, and will be from 2:30-3:30 in the art room 211

    Lunch menu changes
    September 16th we are not doing Beef and Broccoli stir fry or the dinner roll we are doing Garlic Cheese Bread.  This week is breakfast bar again but this time it will have eggs, french toast sticks, and sausage links. September 19th No Cowboy Cavatini or garlic toast we will have Cheese pizza, September 20th we will still have fajitas just not honey lime fajitas, September 24th no pork patty we will have Breaded Chicken patty Sandwich.
