    Meet Joe Hupp. This week’s Drivers Spotlight for the Mt. Zion Schools Transportation department. Joe has been driving for Mt Zion School for over 7 years and his favorite thing about driving are the kids. Joe also loves to dress up as Santa at Christmas time which always is a hit with the kids. When not driving, Joe likes to do woodworking and watching car racing at the local race tracks. He is also a big fan of the Indiana Jones series of movies. Joe says he truly enjoys working at Mt Zion Schools. “It’s like a family”.

    Meet Terry Webb. This week’s Drivers Spotlight for the Mt. Zion Schools Transportation department. Terry has been driving for us for over 8 years and her favorite part of driving, like so many of our drivers, are her kids on the bus. When Terry isn’t driving she enjoys camping and racing of all kinds, from Karting to NASCAR and especially the local dirt tracks. Her favorite movie is Pretty Woman, when she takes time to watch TV. Terry told me she loves driving and everyone she works with here at Mt. Zion Schools.

    This school year, we started spotlighting our great drivers here at Mt. Zion School. But there is more to it than just navigating a bus. Behind the scenes is the guy who keeps things moving. Meet Dan Fleckenstein! He is responsible for keeping our fleet of buses running and safe. We couldn’t do what we do if he didn’t do what he does. He is tireless in his work and work ethic. So, when you see our Mt. Zion School Buses driving on the road, it’s because of the endless work that Dan does for this district that no one sees, and we want to recognize his efforts. Thank you, Dan, for a job well done. We appreciate you.
  • Emilee Weter..Driver Spotlight of the Week!Emily Weter

    Meet Emilee Weter. This week's Drivers Spotlight for the Mt. Zion Schools Transportation department. Emilee has been driving for us for 9 ½ years and is also our lead trainer. Emilee says she “really loves the kids. They all have their very own special personality”. When she’s not working for us, she enjoys following her kids around to their events, camping, reading and spending time with family. She also loves watching comedy movies and tv shows. Emilee also commented, “the transportation department is a great place to work. It’s one big family. I love the relationships with the kids and their families I have built in this community.”
  • Missy Mines..Driver Spotlight of the Week!Missy Mines

    Mt. Zion Schools would like to introduce Missy Mines as this week’s “Driver Spotlight”. Missy has been driving for us for 10 years and is just one of our valuable assets in the transportation department. As one of our Utility Drivers, Missy is ready on any given day to drive whatever route she is needed for. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband drag racing around the Midwest and watching crime shows on TV. When asked, Missy says “We drive the most precious cargo, kids. I love spending time getting to know them”.

     

     

  • LeRoy Moyer...Mt. Zion Transportation Driver Spotlight of the Week!

    Mt. Zion Schools would like to introduce LeRoy Moyer as this week’s “Driver Spotlight”. LeRoy has been serving this community as a bus driver for over 11 years and his favorite thing about it are the kids. In his spare time, LeRoy has trained race horses for 45 years and also enjoys taking care of the farm and animals and showing rabbits. When he has time to relax, he loves to watch the older TV shows like Andy Griffith. He Loves being part of this district and LeRoy says that Mt. Zion is a great school district especially in preparing kids for college.

  • Cindy Overlot..Driver Spotlight of the Week!

    Cindy Overlot

    Mt. Zion Schools would like to introduce Cindy Overlot as this week’s “Driver Spotlight”. Cindy has been driving for us for 31 years and is our longest employed driver. She drives our Special Transportation bus #27 and loves the relationship she has with her students she transports. In her spare time, she enjoys spending special moments with her grandchildren. When asked, Cindy says “I really enjoy the camaraderie with the other bus drivers. It’s like a family”.
